Marine Paramedical Services has been created to service the growing need of having Professional Medics at a sporting venue, in particular motorised water sports.

The required demand for prompt, decisive and EFFECTIVE medical support has been driven by Sporting Organisations realising their responsibility as a HOST, not only to competitors but also for spectators alike. Therefore the level of medical support required NOW must be of the highest standard.

Marine Paramedical Services delivers that required high standard of care, as all our members are currently employed in Emergency/Rescue Services or are Doctors within the Emergency Departments of large Metropolitan Hospitals or Military environments.

All members of Marine Paramedical Services have qualified through the New Zealand National Ambulance Officers Training School and are skill qualified either as Ambulance Officers, Paramedics or Advanced Paramedics.

Several members are qualified as scuba divers and are PADI Rescue Diver Qualified.

Several members of Marine Paramedical Services are also currently employed by a Rescue Helicopter Organisation.

Marine Paramedical Services has Doctors fully capable in major Emergency/Trauma medicine.

Marine Paramedical Services believe we are the Water Sports Safety Specialists.
