• Joined the sport of Offshore Powerboat Racing as a Medic 1999
• Elected onto the Northern Offshore Powerboat Club Committee 2001-2005
• Elected as the New Zealand National Steward/Safety Officer 2003-05 for New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Racing.
• Founder of Marine Paramedical Services Ltd. in 2006
